Eric Schaeffer, Artistic Director of the Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre, today announced the company's 2010-2011 season of four musicals and three plays, with the innovative company producing three world premieres and one regional premiere.

Broadway belter Lisa Brescia, who stars as "Donna Sheridan" in Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, will perform live and chat with radio icon and television host Don Imus this Thursday morning, December 16 during the 8:30am half hour on "Imus in the Morning" on both radio and television nationwide.

Performances begin on January 4 and run through January 9 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Virginia's Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre is hosting a CD signing and release party for WINTER, a new holiday CD from Signature American Musical Voices Project commissioned composer Matt Conner (Nevermore, The Hollow and Partial Eclipse) on Monday, November 15th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in Signature Theatre's Mead Lobby.

One of the most famous musicals in the world, MAMMA MIA! arrives in Brazil for a season at Teatro Abril, presented by Bradesco Seguros e Previdência, and co-sponsorship Cielo and Telefonica. A smash hit that has been translated into 14 different languages including Japanese, Italian, Swedish, Korean, Danish, French, German, Spanish and Russian, MAMMA MIA! will now come to Brazil in a Portuguese language version to be presented in Sao Paulo beginning next November 10th (premiere guests) and November 11th (general public).
