When the weather is hot, the music stays cool thanks to the classic sounds of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. A sizzling lineup of guest artists, musical tributes and movie scores, as well as unique performances of classical, pops and contemporary pieces, await at Heinz Hall during the Pittsburgh Symphony's summer season.

The all-male a cappella group The Pitchforks of Duke University will perform at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 28 at 8:00 p.m. All tickets are $5 and can be purchased online at www.whbpac.org.

Multi-platinum selling, singer/songwriter Ben Folds will feature high-energy performances of his new piano concerto, along with orchestral arrangements of many of his pop hits, on June 21 with the Columbus Symphony as part of the 2014 Nationwide Insurance Picnic with the Pops. The performance is part of 'The Ben Folds Orchestral Experience' touring the US, UK, and Australia throughout 2014.

The cast and creative team of the hit Off-Broadway musical Murder for Two are teaming up with some of New York's brightest up and coming composers and BroadwayWorld.com every Monday night for their spring concert series, Murderous Musical Mondays. Composers Joshua Saltzman & Ryan Cunningham contines the series on Monday, May 19, 2014, immediately following the 7pm performance of Murder for Two at New World Stages (Stage 5 - 340 West 50th Street).
