The Drama Book Shop will welcome acclaimed playwright Greg Pierce (Slowgirl, Her Requiem) and three-time Tony Award-winning composer John Kander (Chicago, Cabaret, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, The Visit) for a discussion with playwright and Drama Book Shop Events Manager Steven Carl McCasland (Little Wars) about their new musical, Kid Victory, opening at The Vineyard Theatre in February.

Written and first presented two decades ago, FULLY COMMITTED was revised and revived in New York recently with Broadway veteran and one of the costars of TV comedy hit 'Modern Family,' Jesse Tyler Ferguson. This brought enough interest in the show to warrant additional productions and Carolyn Griffin, artistic leader of MetroStage thought it was the perfect vehicle for two of the DC areas hardest working artists: Tom Story and Alan Paul.

The New York premiere of KID VICTORY, book and lyrics by Greg Pierce, music by John Kander with story by John Kander and Greg Pierce, and directed by Liesl Tommy will begin previews on Wednesday, February 1 and open on Wednesday, February 22 at the Vineyard Theatre, it has been announced by the company's Artistic Directors, Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern.

Vineyard Theatre's Artistic Directors, Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern, are excited to announce a partnership with Developing Artists, a non-profit arts education organization led by Artistic Director Jill DeArmon and Executive Director Jinn S. Kim.
