Jason B. Schmidt, star of Christmas With The Crawfords, will be starring as Tony Award winner Bea Arthur in the new one man show, BEATRICE ARTHUR: ASTRAL DAME. The one night only performance is tonight, April 14th at 7:00pm, at Stage 72 in New York City.

The Project Rushmore Theatre company will present Bob Ader's one man show FIFTY+ YEARS IN THE BUSINESS (the musical memoirs of an overgrown, 50+ year old child actor) on Sunday, April 19th at 3pm and Monday, April 20th at 7:30pm.

In a recent feature with US Weekly, music legend Cher revealed that she has her sights set on a part with theatrical origins. 'I have watched the 1958 film 'Auntie Mame', with Rosalind Russell, at least 100 times. I would love to play that part in a remake.' The film was based on the Patrick Dennis novel and 1956 play of the same title, which was later turned into the 1966 musical- MAME. Here's to hoping that the diva will play the role on Broadway!
