The Fabulous Fox Theatre has announced the full casting for the St. Louis premiere of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY starring Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town, Million Dollar Quartet) as Francesca and Andrew Samonsky (The Hunchback of Notre Dame, South Pacific) as Robert.

The classical musician who provides the fiddler's music has a unique emotional connection to the classic musical.

Lyric Opera of Chicago continues its 61st season with ROMEO AND JULIET in a new-to-Chicago production created by Tony Award-winning director Bartlett Sher, tonight, February 22, through Saturday, March 19 (nine performances). Critically acclaimed vocalist Maxine Linehan announced today that she will release a single of U2's hit 'One' on Monday, March 14 on iTunes. All profits from the sale of the single will be donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in the spirit of giving that U2 laid out when they first released the benefit single to raise money for AIDS research.

The Sunday April 24, 3:00pm matinee performance of Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street, NYC) completes the fifth season of autism-friendly performances presented by TDF's Autism Theatre Initiative (ATI). The other autism-friendly performances of Broadway shows this season are The Lion King (September 27, 2015), Wicked (February 7, 2016) and Aladdin (March 6, 2016).

The Metropolitan Opera's 2016-17 season, the 50th anniversary of its home at Lincoln Center, will feature 225 opera performances of 26 operas in a varied repertory that ranges from 18th century masterpieces to one of the most acclaimed operas in recent years. Repertoire for the company's 132nd season will include the Met premiere of Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho's 2000 opera L'Amour de Loin, as well as new stagings of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde, Rossini's Guillaume Tell, Gounod's Romeo et Juliette, Dvo?ak's Rusalka, and Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier. A gala concert on May 7, 2017 will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company's Lincoln Center location with performances by opera's leading stars honoring the Met's past and future. Ticket prices will not increase, remaining the same as in the current season, and audience development programs instituted by the company in recent years will continue.  

Tyne Rafaeli has excelled in recreating Bartlett Sher's original direction of BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. The touring production is on stage at ASU Gammage in Tempe AZ and is rock solid, featuring the electrifying and moving performances of Elizabeth Stanley and Andrew Samonsky, a marvelous cast, and stunning technical effects.

Producer Scott Rudin has announced plans to bring Harper Lee's classic Pulitzer Prize-winning novel TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD to Broadway for the 2017-2018 season. Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin will write a new stage adaptation of Lee's novel, and the production will be directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher.
