Casting is announced for the world premiere of Alecky Blythe's new play inspired by the 2011 London riots, directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins. This is Alecky's first new London production after the success of London Road at the National Theatre.

The show opens at Trafalgar Studios in a new production directed by Tom Attenborough. The four-week run begins tonight, May 4, 2012 at 7.00pm.

Following a highly-acclaimed limited run at the Riverside Studios, A ROUND-HEELED-WOMAN is to transfer to the Aldwych Theatre. The production will close at the Riverside Studios on 20 November, and will start performances at the Aldwych Theatre on Thursday 24 November, with a press night on Wednesday 30 November. This is a strictly limited season, ending on 14 January. A ROUND-HEELED WOMAN stars multiple Emmy & Golden Globe award-winning actress Sharon Gless and is based on Jane Juska's best-selling, self-penned book of the same name.

In addition, the Festival will present a concert by Heather Christian, an Installation by Lu Kemp and a concert celebrating African music presented by Tiata Fahodzi.
