Pretty Woman the Musical is continuing to break box office records at the Nederlander Theatre. It was just announced that Atlantic Records will release PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL (ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING) as a special 2-LP red vinyl edition on Friday, January 18, 2019.

Classical, jazz and dance combine when the Music Institute of Chicago collaborates with Dance Chicago to present a family concert, "Duke It Out!," Today, December 8 at 2 p.m. at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Ave., Evanston.

Back by popular demand, The Green Room 42 and Iris Productions present the next in their popular 'YGB' concert series: YOUNG GIFTED & BLACK: CHRISTMAS - an evening celebrating both black excellence and the black experience, while inviting audience members to reminisce with some of their favorite Christmas Hits. A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre, presents Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, the Tony Award-winning play that first brought Stoppard to the attention of an international audience - a position he has held in the half century since its premiere in 1967. ANW Producing Artistic Director Geoff Elliott directs. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead performs from October 7 to November 18 (Press Opening October 13).

The cult classic Christmas film, A CHRISTMAS STORY, jumps to life in December on stage at The Sauk, Hillsdale County's community theatre for eight performances December 6-16.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting and the creative team for the world premiere of My Very Own British Invasion with book by Tony award winner Rick Elice (Peter and the Starcatcher).  My Very Own British Invasion is produced in association with Hal Luftig, Craig Haffner and Rodney Rigby.

Sydney Theatre Company announced today that it has appointed its former Richard Wherrett Fellow and Directing Associate Jessica Arthur in the role of Resident Director in 2019. Jessica joins the Resident Artist team of Associate Director Paige Rattray and Resident Designer Elizabeth Gadsby.
