According to Deadline, the Youtube channel has ordered a 12-episode first season, with TRUE BLOOD's Anna Paquin and LOST's Maggie Grace set to star.

According to Variety, producers Mike Medavoy and Bobby Geisler are developing a revamped film version of The Gershwins' opera Porgy and Bess. Medavoy and Geisler are collaborating with the Gershwin family and lyricist DuBose Heyward's estate for the updated film.

Black Swan State Theatre Company regrets to announce that Bruce Beresford has withdrawn as the director of Joanna Murray-Smith's play Day One, A Hotel, Evening. Instead, director, writer and actor Peter Houghton will direct the play for Black Swan.

Violinist Timothy Fain, seen on screen and heard on the soundtrack of the film "Black Swan," makes his Atlanta debut in a free concert presented by the Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta (ECMSA) on Sunday May 5 at 4 p.m. in Emory's Schwartz Center for Performing Arts.
