Newcomer Michael Campayno has landed the role of Rolf in the live NBC production of 'The Sound of Music' starring Carrie Underwood.

After an exhaustive nationwide search, seven talented young actors have won the coveted roles of the von Trapp children in NBC's musical production of 'The Sound of Music Live!' Check out a photo of the new cast members below!

Now in its 16th season, Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook will continue to expand its scope celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. New this year, the opening night concert will befree, in the David Rubenstein Atrium, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. 'Live From Lincoln Center,' the Emmy Award-winning program broadcast nationally on PBS stations, will shoot four of the first week's American Songbook concerts in The Allen Room: by James Naughton, Lawrence Brownlee, Jason Isbell, and Patina Miller. These performances will be broadcast nationally beginning in Spring 2014. In addition, American Songbook concerts taking place in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center will be live-streamed via http://watch.lincolncenter.org.

Nicholas & Alexandra, the new musical from writing team of Ryann Ferguson & Steven Jamail, along with Aimee Mignon Postell, will have a private, industry reading in Manhattan tonight, October 28th starring Matt Lutz & Autumn Hurlbert in the titles roles and Tony-Award Nominated American Idol Finalist, Constantine Maroulis, as Rasputin.

On Dec. 3 Sony Masterworks will release the companion soundtrack to NBC's live broadcast of 'The Sound of Music,' based on the classic stage musical. The three-hour live production, starring six-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood as Maria von Trapp, will air Dec. 5. This week the team is recording THE SOUND OF MUSIC cast album. This is the last week to see the new musical comedy, NOBODY LOVES YOU, at Second Stage Theatre. The production, which Newsday calls,"Delightful - a refreshing, 90-minute musical for a hot summer night," features book and lyrics by Itamar Moses, music and lyrics by Gaby Alter, choreography by Mandy Moore, and direction by Michelle Tattenbaum. (UMC) has announced that it is currently developing Up in Arms!, a new musical by Emmy Award winner Arnold Auerbach ("The Phil Silvers Show," Call Me Mister) and Tony Award winner Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed...). A private exploratory reading was held on July 15, 2013. UMC is targeting Fall 2014 to present the new work, which is being developed in collaboration with the estates of Mr. Loesser and Mr. Auerbach.
