The National Theatre of Great Britain's production of WAR HORSE, presented by Lincoln Center Theater and the National Theatre of Great Britain in association with Bob Boyett opened last night at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street) and we were there! Lincoln Center Theater has announced that the limited engagement run of the National Theatre of Great Britain production of WAR HORSE has been extended indefinitely at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). WAR HORSE which is produced by Lincoln Center Theater and The National Theatre of Great Britain in association with Bob Boyett, began previews Tuesday, March 15, opened Thursday, April 14 and was scheduled to run through Sunday, June 26.

At the outbreak of World War I, Joey, young Albert's beloved horse, is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France. He's soon caught up in enemy fire, and fate takes him on an extraordinary odyssey, serving on both sides before finding himself alone in no man's land.
