The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance presents The Wild Party, November 20-December 5, 2015 at the Oscar G. Brockett Theatre.

Sometimes it seems there is so much theater happening that it's difficult to keep track of it all. From personal experience, despite all the datebooks, smart phones, tablets, desktop computers and laptops...it's hard to keep everything straight in this wacky business of the show.

It clearly is more than evident at this dinner: politics and religion are two topics one would consider to be off topic at any social gathering. What playwright Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced shows is that both topics, central and crucial in one play, makes for an evening of theatre spent on the edge of your seat.

The Theatre School at DePaul University is pleased to present August Wilson's Joe Turner's Come and Gone on the Fullerton Stage at The Theatre School at DePaul University.  The production, directed by Phyllis E. Griffin, premieres on Friday, November 6, and runs through Sunday, November 15, 2015. Performances are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Previews are on November 4 and 5, at 7:30 PM. 

Everyman Theatre has announced that they will offer a free performance of August Wilson's Fences tonight, October 20th at 7:30PM. This performance will be a part of Free Fall Baltimore, a program of the Baltimore Office of Promotions and the Arts (BOPA). Free Fall Baltimore celebrates its ninth year in 2015 and aims to bring free cultural activities throughout Baltimore.

Ebony Repertory Theatre (ERT - Founder/Producer Wren T. Brown) announced today that Garth Fagan Dance will bring to Los Angeles Fagan's tribute to the late Geoffrey Holder, 'Dance for/With Geoffrey.'
