Yesterday's evening photos featured shots of the cast of EVITA paying homage to THE PERFORMERS, PHANTOM taking on TWILIGHT, plus peeks backstage at The Public's GIANT, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, NEWSIES, BRING IT ON, ELF, THE BOOK OF MORMON, MARY POPPINS, THE LION KING, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, ANYTHING GOES, INNER VOICES, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, 8 MILLION PROTAGONISTS, EMOTIONAL CREATURES, and possibly the most regional SIPs we've collected yet!

Due to the effects from Hurricane Sandy, the Tuesday and Wednesday performances of Anything Goes at the DuPont Theatre have been canceled. Performances scheduled Nov. 1-4 will go on as originally scheduled. A Sunday evening performance will also be added. This performance will be made available for sale on Wednesday.

Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's "Anything Goes," at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. The new Broadway revival of Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece begins performances November 27, 2012, and continues through January 6, 2013. Opening is scheduled for November 28.

The principal cast also includes Erich Bergen as Billy Crocker, Jeff Brooks as Purser, Joyce Chittick as Erma, Alex Finke as Hope Harcourt, Dennis Kelly as Elisha Whitney, Vincent Rodriguez III as Luke, Marcus Shane as John, Sandra Shipley as Mrs. Evangeline Harcourt, Edward Staudenmayer as Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, and Chuck Wagner as Captain.

The Muny's Sound Of Music will close August 1. THE SOUND OF MUSIC was directed by Marc Bruni, with choreography by Liza Gennaro, musical direction by Ben Whiteley, set design by Michael Anania, and lighting design by F. Mitchell Dana.
