Lipuma, presents the World Premiere of Witch, written by Jen Silverman, inspired by The Witch of Edmonton by Rowley, Dekker & Ford. Witch, directed by Marti Lyons, runs September 26 - December 16, 2018 in the Gillian Theatre at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe. The Press Opening is Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.

The Neo-Futurists present Ensemble Member Trevor Dawkins' A Story Told in Seven Fights, directed by Tony Santiago, playing at 5153 N. Ashland Ave., March 1 April 7. Previews are Thursday, March 1 Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m., with opening night Monday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. The running time is currently 80 minutes. Goodman Theatre announces the casts for its one-time-only staged readings as part of its free 14th annual New Stages Festival, October 5-8. The four staged readings include: How to Catch Creation by Christina Anderson; Eden Prairie, 1971 by Mat Smart; The Untranslatable Secrets of Nikki Corona written and directed by Jos Rivera; We're Only Alive for A Short Amount of Time by David Cale, music by Matthew Dean Marsh. American Theater Company (ATC) opens the regional premiere of Jaclyn Backhaus' Men on Boats tonight, Monday, January 9. Men on Boats is the first production helmed by newly appointed ATC Artistic Director Will Davis, who also staged the production's acclaimed Off Broadway run last year.
