Desert performer, Rosanne Hopkins' new cabaret show, "Formerly Fabulous" makes it's debut at the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2 PM. Joining her on piano will be another local, pianist Joel Baker. The show marks the 6th season finale of the popular Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series presented by Les Michaels. Tickets for this show are $11 cash at the door.

Broadway performer and BackStage Bistro Award-winning recording artist Rebecca Spencer will celebrate her Palm Springs concert debut with a performance on Sunday, August 9 at 2:00pm, part of the Summer Series at the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert, CA. Unique arrangements that fuse both classical etudes as well as contemporary expressions of the art song, with the romantic American Songbook, Broadway, film and popular music, have become Rebecca's signature. Working with her long-time collaborator, virtuoso pianist Philip Fortenberry, their musical symmetry has been hailed by critics across the country, and heralded in BackStage as "collaboration at its finest".

The popular Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series 6th season begins Sunday, April 12, 2015 at a special time for the first two shows only, at 6 pm due to a time conflict. All remaining shows for the season, which runs Sundays through October 25th, will be at the normal 2 PM matinee time with all shows at the Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert.

Ms. Dancel's show will complete the 5th season of the Sundays In Summer Series presented by Les Michaels at the Arthur Newman Theater at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. The show, which pays tribute to Doris Day, Judy Garland, and Marilyn Monroe, was a tremendous hit with the audience last season, making it an easy choice to replace Suzy Cadham who was scheduled but had to cancel.

Julie Esposito will perform her new cabaret show entitled "Open Your Window" at 2 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. Critics have called Ms. Esposito an eclectic singer based on her use of a wide range of both musical styles and composers in her previous shows, and this new latest one is no exception. Joining Julie will be musical director and pianist Andy Howe.
