For the final tour of The Old Man and The Old Moon, the endlessly imaginative PigPen Theatre Co. brings their folk-rock fable to The New Victory Theater from today, September 26 - October 13, 2014. This three-week, Off-Broadway run will be the last chance to see the company perform this celebrated work in New York.

On September 22nd, you have one chance to see a New York Theatre Barn (The Barn) exclusive Pre-Premiere* of the new musicals, MARRYING ME and SEAWIFE at the Daryl Roth Theatre's D-Lounge at 7:30 pm. The Guthrie Theater presents the first production on the Wurtele Thrust Stage in the 2014-2015 season, Wendy Wasserstein's Pulitzer Prize-winning play The Heidi Chronicles. Under the direction of 2014 Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman (Broadway's Violet, Chinglish, Well), The Heidi Chronicles will feature the talents of Kate Wetherhead, Ben Graney, Tracey Maloney and Zach Shaffer, as well as Sam Bardwell, Eleonore Dendy, Mo Perry and Stacia Rice.

Slightly Altered States Theater Company presents the World Premiere of MR. LANDING TAKES A FALL, an absurdist comedy by Sari Caine, directed by Sherri Eden Barber. Inspired by Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the play was a PlayPenn 2013 semi-finalist and short-listed for both the 24/7 (UK) and the Ronald Duncan Award (UK). 'Wasted Tunes' is an original blast of theatrical rock'n'roll by composer/lyricist Mark Sonnenblick. Audiences can expect an evening of intoxicated anthems, hammered hymns, stoned showtunes, and blitzed ballads, none of which are from any comprehensible piece of theater and most of which will be performed in public for the first time. Brennan Caldwell (NBC's "The Sing-Off"), Kasie Gasparini (Mama Mia Las Vegas), Will Roland (The Black Suits), Emily Wexler, and Sonnenblick himself will star in the revue, which will be directed by Don't Tell Mama's Associate Director of Programming, Max Friedman.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Sunday, September 14 at 9:30 PM for the launch of its landmark 6th season. The September show will include a tribute to the beloved soul diva Amy Winehouse, featuring special guests Kenny Mellman, Jessica Vosk, Xavier Rice and Mark Aaron James. The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Marco Ramirez's ('Orange is the New Black,' 'Sons of Anarchy') wildly theatrical new play The Royale, directed by two-time Obie Award-winning and Drama Desk Award-nominated Rachel Chavkin. Founding Artistic Director of New York's the TEAM, Chavkin most recently won accolades for Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (The New York Times, Time Out New York, and New York Post Critics's Picks, and Top Ten of 2012 and 2013). The Royale will run October 4 to November 2 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run October 4 - 8. Opening night is Thursday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m.
