This three-week, Off-Broadway run will be the last chance to see the company perform this celebrated work in New York.

The American Theatre Wing has announced the recipients of its 2014 National Theatre Company Grants. This year's recipients are: Amphibian Stage Productions (Fort Worth, Texas), Ars Nova (New York, New York), Forum Theatre (Silver Spring, Maryland), Keen Company (New York, New York), PlayGround (San Francisco, California) , Red Bull Theater (New York, NY), Rogue Machine Theatre (Los Angeles, California), The House Theatre of Chicago (Chicago, Illinois), the TEAM (Brooklyn, New York), Theater Wit (Chicago, Illinois), Theatre B (Fargo, North Dakota), and Williamston Theatre (Williamston, Michigan).

On September 22nd, you have one chance to see a New York Theatre Barn (The Barn) exclusive Pre-Premiere* of the new musicals, MARRYING ME and SEAWIFE at the Daryl Roth Theatre's D-Lounge at 7:30 pm. MARRYING ME's book is by Mark Beau de Silva, with lyrics by EllaRose Chary and music by Onn San. SEAWIFE is created by New York City based indie-folk band The Lobbyists in collaboration with Seth Moore and director Liz Carlson. The Barn is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company whose sole mission is 'to give theatre a chance.'

'Wasted Tunes' is an original blast of theatrical rock'n'roll by composer/lyricist Mark Sonnenblick. Audiences can expect an evening of intoxicated anthems, hammered hymns, stoned showtunes, and blitzed ballads, none of which are from any comprehensible piece of theater and most of which will be performed in public for the first time. The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Marco Ramirez's ('Orange is the New Black,' 'Sons of Anarchy') wildly theatrical new play The Royale, directed by two-time Obie Award-winning and Drama Desk Award-nominated Rachel Chavkin. Founding Artistic Director of New York's the TEAM, Chavkin most recently won accolades for Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (The New York Times, Time Out New York, and New York Post Critics's Picks, and Top Ten of 2012 and 2013). The Royale will run October 4 to November 2 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run October 4 - 8. Opening night is Thursday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m.
