The latest piece of ambitious new writing at Theatre503 will be the politically fuelled EleXion, showing at the venue in May. This production, which has been co-authored by the emerging playwrights on the 503Five resident writer programme (Chloe Todd Fordham, Brian Mullin, Vinay Patel, Ella Greenhill and Neasa O'Callaghan), will explore the cross section of British experiences leading up to the General Election.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will make its SAN FRANCISO debut to OASIS (298 Eleventh Street, San Francisco CA) tonight, April 25 at 7:30 PM. The Meeting* has been called 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice. A story for Slate.com called the evening 'so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight.' The New York run of The Meeting* - currently running monthly at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater - has been sold out since the New York Times 'Arts & Leisure' piece ran last September. Special musical guests for the Oasis performance will include Veronica Klaus, Connie Champagne, and D'Arcy Drollinger. Tickets are $20 and are available at SFOasis.com.

The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors, Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham are thrilled to present the Orange County premiere of the Smash-Hit, Off-Broadway musical, MURDER FOR TWO, book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair, choreography by Wendy Seyb, musical direction by David Caldwell and direction by Scott Schwartz.

Musical theatre writer Joel B. New makes his New York solo concert debut tonight at 9:30PM on the Duplex Cabaret Theatre stage. Directed by Bistro Award winner Justin Daniel, 'Joel B. New In Concert' will feature New behind the piano, playing and singing a variety of selections from his musical projects. Guest performers also scheduled to appear include Charlie Levy, Jenny Neale, Dan Radzikowski, and Christine Schneider.

Colin Donnell and Patti Murin, who recently starred opposite each other in Encores! LADY, BE GOOD, will return to the stage in Irving Berlin's HOLIDAY INN at The Muny in St. Louis beginning July 6, just one week after they tie the knot!

FIREBONE THEATRE has announced the world premiere production of Don Nguyen'sRED FLAMBOYANT, directed by Laura Savia. Salty Brine announces the premiere of a new cabaret, Second Hand News, as the next installment in his series, Salty Brine's Spectacular Living Record Collection Cabaret.  Salty Brine's Spectacular Living Record Collection Cabaret, which performs on Wednesdays as part of Brine's residency at The Red Room (85 E. 4th St.), explores a different iconic album each month in a live cabaret setting.  Second Hand News, inspired by Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, will run on May 6, 13, 20 and 27 with doors opening at 7:30pm and shows beginning at 8:00pm.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series has announced the return of Broadway and concert star Daniel Reichard, who will return to Birdland on Sunday, May 10 at 6pm, with a show celebrating the music and lyrics of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.
