Sharon Playhouse has announced its 2017 Season. The season kicks off with MINOR CHARACTER: SIX TRANSLATIONS OF UNCLE VANYA, created by New Saloon (Morgan Green, Madeline Wise, and Milo Cramer), followed by FAR AWAY by Caryl Churchill (Love and Information). The season will conclude with a new, intimate chamber production of Meredith Wilson's THE MUSIC MAN.

The best-selling Russian crime fiction writer Boris Akunin's new stage adaptation of Shakespeare's HAMLET will debut this spring Off-Broadway when Red Lab Productions and Roust Theatre Company present HAMLET. A VERSION, with previews beginning April 21, prior to the official press opening on April 25 at The Theater at St. Clement's (423 W. 46 St.) in New York City. HAMLET. A VERSION is directed by Irina Gachechiladze. The production features original music by Georgian composer Giya Kancheli.

Don't Tell Mama is very pleased to announce that an additional performance of the new cabaret show Love Letter: Joe Iconis & Lauren Marcus do Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash has been added due to overwhelming demand. In addition to tonight's fully booked 7:30pm performance, the couple will perform the show on Saturday March 25th at 3pm.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau. The Globe is the first regional theatre in the country to mount the play, which was presented here as a reading in the 2014 Powers New Voices Festival before an acclaimed Off Broadway run. San Diego director Delicia Turner Sonnenberg makes her Globe debut to helm the award-winning drama, which is presented in association with San Diego's MOXIE Theatre, where Turner Sonnenberg is Founding Artistic Director.

The original Off-Broadway cast recording of "When You Are A Person" has been released and is now available worldwide. The song is from the world premiere of Ken Urban's NIBBLER, presented by The Amoralists in association with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, March 19 with a celebration of the legendary rock band Velvet Underground at 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.

F*It Club, the New York Innovative Award-winning film and theatre company, continues its annual series of short, commissioned world-premiere plays at the IRT Theater as part of their 3B Development Series in Manhattan's West Village with The Spring Fling: Rebound, seven new short plays by Ngozi Anyanwu (Good Grief), Lucy Boyle (The Blue Deep), Liza Birkenmeier (Radio Island), Ryan King (Burying Augustus), Dan Moyer (Half Moon Bay), Matthew Paul Olmos (So Go The Ghosts of Mexico), and Leah Nanako Winkler (Kentucky).

Cleveland Play House's Outcalt Theatre will be transformed into the rent-controlled apartment of ex-cop Walter 'Pops' Washington in the bold, fresh, and unfiltered work of renowned playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis. Packed with irreverent humor, lightning-quick dialogue, and tremendous heart, Between Riverside and Crazy is the Pulitzer Prize-winning dark comedy about family, pride, and redemption.

As the centerpiece of the Company's 25th anniversary season, Target Margin Theater and Abrons Arts Center will present a rare revival of Eugene O'Neill's great trilogy, Mourning Becomes Electra, directed by Herskovits, and running April 26-May 20. Part Greek tragedy, part family play, part history play, Mourning Becomes Electra (O'Neill's 1931 adaptation of Aeschylus 'The Oresteia') mashes myth, Freudian psychology and melodrama into an epic six hour production.

Ars Nova has announced an international tour of the critically acclaimed Underground Railroad Game. The provocative production, which premiered in New York last year, was created by Jennifer Kidwell and Scott R. Sheppard with Philadelphia based theater company Lightning Rod Special and directed by Taibi Magar.

Songs in the Key of Equality is proudly teaming up again with Swish Ally Fund for a night of inspirational performances by Broadway and NYC cabaret performers. This annual event will be held on Monday, April 3 at 8 p.m. at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City.  

Artists Repertory Theatre presents the Northwest Premiere of FEATHERS AND TEETH by Charise Castro Smith, directed by Artistic Director Damaso Rodriguez. Previews performances begin March 7, the play opens March 11 and runs through April 2 on the Morrison Stage.

Twin sisters 'M' and 'L' resort to desperate measures when their academic dreams of success are dashed most unexpectedly. With unwavering loyalty to each other-and themselves-they craft a plan to manipulate their destiny by any means necessary. Fresh off a critically acclaimed World Premiere production at Yale Repertory in 2015, MTC is excited to bring this sinister, sisterly twist on the Scottish Play to the West Coast under the direction of Margot Bordelon, who also directed the play's World Premiere.

Stable Cable Lab Co. (Producer, Margaret Santa Maria) will present the World Premiere of Max Baker's The Conspiracists at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B) April 22-May 7 with performances on Sat 4/22, 4/29 & 5/6 at 7:30pm, Mon 4/24, Wed 4/26, Thu 4/27, Fri 4/28, Mon 5/1, Wed 5/3, Thu 5/4 & Fri 5/5 at 7pm and Sun 4/23, Sat 4/29, Sun 4/30, Sat 5/6 & Sun 5/7 at 3pm. Tickets ($18 in advance; $20 at the door) may be purchased atwww.stablecablelabco.org.  The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission. 

Undermain Theatre presents a Dallas premiere, REALLY, by Jackie Sibblies Drury. REALLY will be produced at Undermain's home in Deep Ellum - 3200 Main Street. Directed by Carson McCain, opening night will be Saturday, April 15th with a curtain time of 7:30 pm.  Preview performances will be on April 12th, 13th, and 14th at 7:30 pm. ALL PREVIEW PERFORMANCES ARE ONLY $15. There will be two Saturday matinee performances at 2:00 pm on April 22nd and May 6th. The production will run through May 6th.
