Infinite Variety Productions to Return to FringeNYC with Alla Ilyasova's SVETLYACHKI

Broadway's Lindsey Brett Carothers (Bring it On, WICKED (National Tour)) will premiere her new one-woman show, THE VOICE WITHIN, on August 7 at 9:30pm at The Duplex Cabaret Theater.  Written and performed by Carothers, the show is directed by Marshall Pailet with music direction by Andrea Grody. Drew Fornarola and Madame Mathieu Productions will produce.

Today, casting was announced for the stage adaptation of Disney's iconic film "Freaky Friday," which will be led by Emma Hunton ("Spring Awakening," "Next to Normal") and Heidi Blickenstaff ("Something Rotten," "The Little Mermaid") as daughter and mother, respectively. It will have a world premiere in October at the Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA.

CANDY BUCKLEY (Cabaret, After the Fall, Thoroughly Modern Millie), THEO STOCKMAN (American Psycho, American Idiot, Hair), and BEN MOSS (Freedom Riders) will join the previously announced cast which includes JENNIFER DAMIANO, CIARA RENEE, MEGHANN FAHY, and KRISTA PIOPPI. The reading is directed by WHITNEY MOSERY (King Charles III, American Psycho).

Directors Announced for WaterTower Theatre's 2016-17 Main Stage Season

?WaterTower Theatre Managing Director Gregory Patterson and Associate Artistic Director Kelsey Leigh Ervi today announced the directors for the upcoming 2016-2017 WaterTower Theatre Main Stage Season in The Canterbury Family Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre.   Directing the season opener, Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash (October 7- 30, 2016) is B.J. Cleveland with Musical Direction by Sonny Franks.  Next up, the regional premiere of Silent Sky (January 20-February 12, 2017) will be directed by Kelsey Leigh Ervi.  The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens, and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord (April 14-May 7, 2017) will be directed by Emily Scott Banks.  Rene Moreno will return to direct Native Gardens (June 2- 25, 2017). Sunday in the Park With George (July 28-August 20, 2017) will be directed by Terry Martin, with Musical Direction by Jeff Lankov.
