A haunting American classic, THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL marks the first Cleveland Play House production of a work by Pulitzer Prize- and Academy Award-winner Horton Foote, and the world-premiere performance of this play by an African-American cast. Receiving the blessing of Hallie Foote, daughter of the playwright, this co-production with Round House Theatre is helmed by Timothy Douglas and stars preeminent African-American actress Lizan Mitchell as Carrie Watts. THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL begins in the Drury Theatre at Cleveland Play House on Friday, February 4 and runs through Sunday, February 27, 2011. North Coast Repertory Theatre Presents One of Time Magazine's Top 10 Plays- Behind the Plain Lives of Two Farmers, a Past That's Anything But... The Drawer Boy

This spring Arizona Theatre Company journeys to the New York boroughs and into Neil Simon's masterwork, LOST IN YONKERS, the fourth installment of ATC's AMERICA PLAYS! Celebrating Great American Stories series. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, LOST IN YONKERS is as funny as it is poignant and is certain to leave you spellbound with laughter and tears. Featuring Tony Award-winner and Arizona favorite Judy Kaye, and directed by Samantha K. Wyer, LOST IN YONKERS plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from February 26 through March 19, 2011. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from March 24 through April 10, 2011. The OBIE Award-winning Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company, will present the world premiere of "THE INEXPLICABLE REDEMPTION OF AGENT G," written by Qui Nguyen and directed by Robert Ross Parker (with fight direction by Nguyen), when it begins performances on March 24 at Incubator Arts Project (incubatorarts.org), St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery, 131 East 10th Street (at 2nd Avenue).

North Coast Repertory Theatre Presents One of Time Magazine's Top 10 Plays- Behind the Plain Lives of Two Farmers, a Past That's Anything But... The Drawer Boy

Three-time Tony Award-winning scenic designer ROBIN WAGNER and esteemed costume designer LEWIS BROWN are among the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Brown was selected to receive the 2011 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer Robin Wagner will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. Sadly, Mr. Brown passed away in January of 2011. His award will be accepted by his long-time colleague and friend, Albert Wolsky, who was the recipient of the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award

San Jose Repertory Theatre is honored to present the cast of Ronald Harwood's compelling drama The Dresser. Ken Ruta takes the role of 'Sir,' a tyrannical Shakespearean actor-manger attempting to keep his dying company together during the air raids in World War II Britain.

The witty, compelling drama The Dresser examines the backstage relationship between the tyrannical Shakespearean actor 'Sir' who is trying to keep his company together during difficult times and his devoted, fussbudget dresser Norman. The result is one of the most acclaimed dramas of modern theatre. It's what the New York Times calls 'A stirring evening [that] ... burns with a love of the theatre that conquers all ... Perfectly observed, devilishly entertaining backstage lore.' Penned by Robert Harwood and directed by the Rep's Artistic Director Rick Lombardo, The Dresser runs from January 27-February 20, 2011 at San Jose Repertory Theatre, 101 Paseo de San Antonio in downtown San Jose. Pay What You Will Night is Thursday, January 27 at 8 p.m. Press Opening Night is Wednesday, February 2 at 8 p.m.
