The Broadway production of Stephen Karam's much-raved-about new play, THE HUMANS, recently named 'The Best Play of the Year' by New York Magazine, opens tonight, February 18, 2016.

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with Philip Massinger's The Roman Actor, directed by Louisa Proske, on Monday February 15th at 7:30 PM, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson).  Featured in the cast will be Oberon Adjepong, Mamoudou Athie, Tina Benko, Clifton Duncan, Ben Horner, Jennifer Ikeda, Patrick Page, Paul Lazar, Carolyn Smith, Sam Underwood, Adina Verson, and more, with live music performed by percussionist Satoshi Takeishi.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.redbulltheater.com or by phone at (212) 352-3101.

The Broadway production of Stephen Karam's much-raved-about new play, The Humans, will begin performances at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street) on Saturday, January 23, 2016, and open officially on Thursday, February 18. Directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, the play will feature its entire acclaimed current Off-Broadway cast. Waterwell, one of the Village Voice's Best Arguments for Devised Theater and creators of GOODBAR and #9, continues its annual series of developmental workshop productions with a commission by Dael Orlandersmith (Forever, Yellowman, Beauty's Daugther) for its senior Drama Class of 2016 at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS). The new play, Some of the Things Inside, will be directed by Allison Talis and will premiere at PPAS in April 2016.

This savage satire follows Malevole, the sarcastic court jester as he lambastes Renaissance Genoa with his caustic wit. But in a tale of false deaths, seductions, and adulteries, is this jester truly what he seems to be?

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a one week extension to the Off-Broadway premiere production of Pulitzer Prize finalist Stephen Karam's The Humans, directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, as part of the 50th Anniversary Season.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Stephen Karam's The Humans featuring Cassie Beck ,Reed Birney, Jayne Houdyshell, Lauren Klein, Arian Moayed and Sarah Steele, just opened earlier this week, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, the show might have a life after off Broadway. David Rooney writes that producer Scott Rudin will transfer the production (full cast included) to Broadway in 2016.
