Waterwell Announces PPAS Middle School's SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS

Waterwell, one of the Village Voice's Best Arguments for Devised Theater (2010) and creators of GOODBAR and #9, announced today the opening of commedia dell'arte classic, Servant of Two Masters, starring 11-13 year old actors from their Theatrical Arts program at Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in Manhattan.

The Public Theater and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters have announced that single tickets are now on sale for the eighth annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 4-15, 2012 at The Public Theater as well as at partner venues around the city.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced additional casting today for KING LEAR, directed by James Macdonald, running October 18 - November 20 in the Newman Theater with an official press opening on November 8. Che Ayende (Duke of Burgundy/Knight/Servant), Craig Bockhorn (Doctor), Michael Crane (Oswald), Herb Foster (Old Man/Curan), Seth Gilliam (Edmund), Michael Izquierdo (King of France), Arian Moayed (Edgar), Kelli O'Hara (Regan), and Richard Topol (Albany) will join the previously announced Enid Graham (Goneril), Michael McKean (Gloucester), John Douglas Thompson (Kent) and Sam Waterston (Lear). Single tickets, priced at $75-$85, go on sale Tuesday, August 9. Member tickets are $40 and are on sale now.

HERO Theatre's first production will be on Monday August 8, 2011, 7PM at the Baryshnikov Arts Center. Hosted by Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis, the newly formed company will present a special staged reading of Anton Chekhov's 'Three Sisters' directed by Obie award winner Lisa Peterson.
