Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with John Marston's THE MALCONTENT, directed by Derek Smith, featuring Matthew Rauch ('Banshee') four-time Academy Award nominee Marsha Mason, Kelley Curran, Christopher Innvar, Christina Rouner and more. This savage satire follows Malevole, the sarcastic court jester as he lambastes Renaissance Genoa with his caustic wit. But in a tale of false deaths, seductions, and adulteries, is this jester truly what he seems to be?

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a one week extension to the Off-Broadway premiere production of Pulitzer Prize finalist Stephen Karam's The Humans, directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, as part of the 50th Anniversary Season.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Stephen Karam's The Humans featuring Cassie Beck ,Reed Birney, Jayne Houdyshell, Lauren Klein, Arian Moayed and Sarah Steele, just opened earlier this week, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, the show might have a life after off Broadway. David Rooney writes that producer Scott Rudin will transfer the production (full cast included) to Broadway in 2016.

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) today announced that their Twelfth Season will kick off with a special benefit reading and party on Monday October 26th (7:30pm): George Etherege's The Man Of Mode, or, Sir Fopling Flutter, directed by Jesse Berger, starring Reg Rogers and Veanne Cox and featuring Michael Urie as Sir Fopling, along with Matthew Amendt, Suzanne Bertish, Angel Desai, Ryan Garbayo, Adam Green, Kathryn Meisle, Amelia Pedlow, Everett Quinton, Liv Rooth, Marc Vietor, Spiff Weigand, and more The Man of Mode will feature live music by Scott Killian.

An exclusive party with cast and special guests including Chukwudi Iwuji, Miriam Silverman, Matthew Rauch, and Laila Robins, among others, follows the benefit reading.

The Humans begins preview performances Off-Broadway on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 and opens officially on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). The New York Television Festival, an organization dedicated to identifying and nurturing top independent creative talent and connecting it with networks, studios, digital media companies and brands, today announced the official selections for its flagship Independent Pilot Competition (IPC), including The Accidental Wolf, created by Arian Moayed of Waterwell Films. This explosive thriller, stars Kelli O'Hara (Tony Winner for The King & I), Mike Doyle (Clint Eastwood's Jersey Boys) and Sahr Ngaujah (Tony Nominee for Fela!), and is one of 50 original television and web series pilots that will be presented for industry executives and TV fans at the 11th Annual New York Television Festival.
