Katori Hall's Olivier Award-winning drama The Mountaintop comes to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater following an acclaimed run at the Alley Theatre in Houston. Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara (Public Theater's Wild with Happy) makes his Arena Stage directorial debut with The Mountaintop, which is produced in association with the Alley Theatre and runs March 29-May 12, 2013 in the Kreeger Theater. According to an Equity casting notice, Daryl Roth and Eva Price are bringing Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's novel A Time To Kill to Broadway in Fall 2013. A recent production played Baltimore's Arena Stage in 2011. Rehearsals will begin in August 2013, with opening night set for early October 2013. Ethan McSweeny is set to direct.

Burke-Cohen Entertainment/Jimmy Burke, Jeff Cohen presents American Idol finalist Crystal Bowersox and Oscar and Emmy Award nominee Annette O'Toole starring in the Broadway premiere of Ted Swindley's Always… Patsy Cline, directed by Tony Award winner John Rando. The scenery will be designed by Anna Louizos, who is currently represented on Broadway with 'Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.' Performances begin in July with an August opening.

Park Square Theatre announces a 2013-2014 Season composed entirely of area, regional and world premieres - opening with David Lindsay-Abaire's dark comedy Good People and closing with the first ever stage depiction of Nero Wolfe, the famously eccentric detective genius created by best-selling author Rex Stout. The talent bringing these stories to life includes bold-faced names and theatre favorites, including the Minnesota stage debut of James Denton of Desperate Housewives fame, the return of Emmy-nominee Linda Kelsey playing Mary Todd Lincoln and the Park Square directing debuts of Joe Chvala and Amy Rummenie.

THE BOOK CLUB PLAY, a comedy about books and the people who love them, continues the Playhouse's Thompson Shelterhouse Theatre season. This engaging and hilarious play by Karen Zacarias begins previews tonight, March 23 and will continue through April 28.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced this year's recipients for the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre. This year's awards will be presented to Bernard 'Bernie' Gersten, Executive Producer of Lincoln Center Theater; Scenic Designer Ming Cho Lee and Paul Libin, Executive Vice President of Jujamcyn Theatres.

Lincoln Center Theater presents an LCT3 Special Event of Mr. Joy, a 90-minute one-man show written and performed by Daniel Beaty and directed by Sheryl Kaller. The workshop production will be performed April 8, April 9, April 12-15, and April 17-21 at 7:00 pm at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Rounding out the cast are Emily Donahoe (Broadway's 33 Variations) as daughter Brooke Wyeth, Scott Drummond (Cherry Lane Theatre's A Perfect Future) as son Trip Wyeth and Martha Hackett (Pacific Resident Theatre's Nora) as their aunt Silda Grauman. Other Desert Cities runs April 26-May 26, 2013 in the Fichandler Stage.
