Fisher Landau Center for Art is pleased to announce 'LEGACY: Selections from Emily Fisher Landau's Gift to the Whitney Museum of American Art', on view through September 12th, 2011. Occupying all three floors at the Center, the exhibition highlights an overview of the historic pledge of artwork by Mrs. Landau, consisting of 419 pieces by 86 artists who have shaped the course of American Art. The installation is inspired by the Whitney Museum's recent 'Legacy' exhibition organized by Donna De Salvo and David Kiehl. The intimate setting of the Fisher Landau Center for Art allows for an expanded presentation of Mrs Landau's pledge, displaying more than 100 artworks by over 60 artists including:

'UNFORGETTABLE: Selections from the Emily Fisher Landau Collection', on view February 10 - April 4 in the 1st floor gallery. The exhibition highlights a selection of paintings, sculpture and photography, including such iconic pieces as Ed Ruscha's 'Securing the Last Letter' 1964, Louise Bourgeois' 'Nature Study' 1984, Robert Rauschenberg's 'Sundog' 1962, Georgia O'Keeffe's 'Dry Waterfall' 1951 and Agnes Martin's 'Grey Stone II' 1961, along with additional artworks by Willem de Kooning, April Gornik, Jasper Johns, Barbara Kruger, Vera Lutter, Richard Prince, James Rosenquist, Kiki Smith, Rudolf Stingel, Mark Tansey, Andy Warhol and others.

Bay Street Theatre kicks off the month of July with a bang as the legendary Betty Buckley returns for three performances of a new and critically acclaimed show 'Broadway By Request.' The 4th of July weekend fun begins on Friday, July 3 (Ms. Buckley's birthday concert) at 8pm, with additional shows on Saturday, July 4th at 5pm and 7pm. 'Broadway By Request' features songs and behind the scene stories from Buckley's many Broadway hits as requested by the audience.
