To open its 2014-15 season, the Saint Sebastian Players (SSP) present a world premiere that stays close to home, in terms of its author and its setting.

Great plays, bold choices, talented artists. off the WALL is announcing the 2014-15 season, featuring three Pittsburgh premieres in the Acting Company's four-play program, as well as repertory theater.

Details are announced for a series of debates and talks chaired by Deputy Artistic Director Erica Whyman, to take place in the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon in response to the Royal Shakespeare Company's summer season of work.

Kentucky Shakespeare's summer season closes on August 17 with Savage Rose Classical Theatre Company's critically acclaimed "King Lear," starring J. Barrett Cooper, the company's founder, as the titular king. It will be a swan song of sorts, for it will be Cooper's final performance with the company, and in Louisville - at least for the time being.

The Bijou Theatre is teaming up with New England Ballet Company to put together their first-ever Children's Series, which will run on one Sunday per month at 3pm. The diversity between live musical theatre and a professional dance company will provide a little something for everyone. The first show of the series will be the timeless classic 'Peter and the Wolf' on Sunday September 28 at 3 PM.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) is pleased to celebrate women working in theatre with four special events in the month of May. The events include the oral history of Tony-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth on May 5th, a benefit performance of Forever written and performed by award-winner Dael Orlandersmith on May 6th at HERE, May 8th is the second annual advocacy march through Times Square, and May 12th is a networking event on Theatre and Other Careers.

The League of Professional Theatre Women is pleased to present Award-winning actress BEBE NEUWIRTH for the next Oral History interview on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on 65th Street & Amsterdam Avenue. Ms. Neuwirth will be interviewed by arts journalist Patrick Pacheco. Admission is free, but seats will be on a first-come-first-seated basis.
