Hello, all, I'm back with another blog about my experience with the American Repertory Theater's upcoming production of "Pippin!" Since my last post, we have nearly completed another two weeks of rehearsals. We have all been working very hard, and the show is really starting to come together.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) presents Pippin, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Roger O. Hirson, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with circus choreography by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers) and choreography by Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse. Set design is by Tony Award-winning designer Scott Pask, costume design by Dominique Lemieux, lighting design by Tony Award-winning designer Kenneth Posner, and sound design by Tony winner and A.R.T. Resident Sound Designer Clive Goodwin. Orchestration is by Tony Award-winner Larry Hochman, Music Supervision by Nadia Di Giallonardo, and the Music Director is Charlie Alterman.

Anthony Wayne, currently performing as 'Jimmy' on Broadway in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, has written and will star in FABULOUS, ONE MORE TIME: A SYLVESTER CONCERT based on the life of the 1970's Disco King/Queen Sylvester at venue in New York City on July 29th, 2012.

After 6 seasons at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Julius returns to B'way in a Stratford production, with his brother in the cast as well.

Andrew Chappelle, Mr. Mamma Mia!, was crowned as winner of the sold out, sixth annual Broadway Beauty Pageant held Monday evening at Symphony Space. The event raised $75,000 to benefit the Ali Forney Center, which provides shelter to homeless LGBT youth in New York City.

Last night, March 20, Priscilla Queen of the Desert celebrated the musical's landmark one year anniversary at the Palace Theatre before the show with the stars cutting the "Priscilla Pink Pie Face Pie" from Australia's most celebrated Bakery cafe "Pie Face." Following the celebratory performance, Priscilla's half millionth audience member was crowned on stage along with a secret "Oprah-style" prizing moment and a special surprise performance from the cheerleading squad "Cheer New York."
