In this new improvised show, the twisted minds behind popular improv act Puppet TV combine adult improv savvy with the style of classic children's shows such as The Bugaloos, H.R. Pufnstuf and The Great Space Coaster to transform the audience's fears, bad days and tragedies into happiness any way they can …..even if that means singing about kittens.

Annex Theatre serves up a saucey satire of the Lifetime television genre in a new late night show WOMEN IN PERIL written by Joel Steinpreis & Craig Trolli and directed by Jason Sharp. Bad Actor Productions bring their campy nonsense and anarchic deviance to bear on the trashy world of 1990's Lifetime movies - the kind of trashy psychotic plot-defying guilty pleasure we secretly binged on with our moms!
The underbelly of Beatrix Potter comes to life in Brandon Simmons' 'The Tale of Jemima Canard'. An innocent girl falls under the romantic sway of a predatory cad, but as the author is interrogated by one of her own characters, layers of love, envy, jealousy, and much worse becomes revealed as the play delves into the initially whimsical loves of Jemima.
After a two year absence from the Seattle stage, the Half Brothers return for a night at Theatre Off Jackson, and they're bringing their friends from 'Awesome' and Jose Bold along with them.
Macha Monkey continues its 10th season of fearless, funny, female theatre with a special remount of the co-founders first play, ELEKTRA (formerly known as Live Girls Do Elektra) by Desiree Prewitt and Kristina Sutherland. Macha Monkey presents a lightning-fast interpretation of the Elektra myth in which two actresses, Kate Jaeger and Erin Stewart, portray a myriad of characters. Each moment of this original production addresses the question 'What if Orestes never showed up?' Set to a backdrop of gin bottles, violent chariot accidents, gossiping neighbors, and an ending even Sophocles could dance to, this dark comedy returns to Seattle with a vengeance. The remount comes with a special curtain raiser performance: Scot Augustson's puppet retelling of the play Agamemnon!
