Tony-nominated actress Cristin Milioti, who plays the role of 'Girl' in the musical ONCE appeared on NBC 4 NEW YORK yesterday to talk about the hit Broadway show. Milioti shared her belief that it is the play's honesty which has created such a strong response from audiences. 'It's not a fairytale,' explains the actress, 'that makes it very relatable.' The August 2012 installment of NYTB in the D-Lounge features an excerpt from the new musical Carolina Breeze from writing team Joel Waggoner and Lori Mannette, as well as selections from the new musical Kingdom Come by Matt Webster. The monthly series is executive produced by Laura Brandel and Jason Najjoum.
