Superman finds his Lois Lane! Joining Edward Watts (Superman) in the New York City Center Encores! production of It's a Bird…It's a Plane…It's Superman will be Jenny Powers as Lois Lane and David Pittu as the evil Dr. Sedgwick, along with Erich Bergen, Alli Mauzey, James Saito and Will Swenson. Superman will play at City Center for seven performances, March 20 - 24, and will be directed by John Rando with choreography by Joshua Bergasse and music direction by Rob Berman.

Abingdon Theatre Company continues its 20th Anniversary Season with the Off-Broadway premiere of Robert Brustein's THE LAST WILL, the final installment of his trilogy examining the life of William Shakespeare, with previews set to begin April 5, prior to its official opening on April 17 in the June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street). I have already named my Best Dressed of the Oscars but now I am picking my favorite fashion change of the night. I love how the stars opt for a different dress to attend many parties following the awards. Some go for a short number, some opt for something a little more comfortable, like Anne Hathaway. So, since neither talented actress got to take home the coveted statue, they both get the honor of Best Dressed.
