Toronto. March 1, 2020. CAFTCAD is proud to announce the winners of the 2020 CAFTCAD Awards in Toronto.

Joanna Syrokomla and Cynthia Amsden, Co-Chairs of the Canadian Alliance of Film & Television Costume Arts & Design (CAFTCAD) Awards are delighted to announce the official list of nominees for the 15 categories. 

Mystery Writers of America celebrates the 208th anniversary of the birth of Edgar Allan Poe by announcing the Nominees for the 2017 Edgar Allan Poe Awards, honoring the best in mystery fiction, non-fiction and television published or produced in 2016. The Edgar Awards will be presented to the winners at the 71st Gala Banquet, April 27, 2017 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, New York City.

MOTHER EMANUEL An American Musical Play Opens at FringeNYC 8/13   Rebel Theater in association with The Present Company presents MOTHER EMANUEL, an American Musical Play conceived by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj and co-written by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, Adam Mace and Christian Lee Branch starting Saturday August 13 at Soho Playhouse as part of the 2016 New York International Fringe Festival.

Margie Gillis Dance Foundation presents the Ontario premiere of The Light Between, with choreography by Margie Gillis, created in collaboration with Holly Bright, Marc Daigle and Paola Styron. The Toronto premiere is set for tonight and tomorrow, November 12-13 at the Harbourfront Centre's Fleck Dance Theatre, Toronto, ON.

The 2013-2014 season marks the 40th anniversary of the performance career of the internationally celebrated Canadian dance artist Margie Gillis. In celebration, Montreal's Margie Gillis Dance Foundation launches a cross-Canada tour marking the illustrious four-decade career of the iconic dancer and choreographer, one of the country's most honoured artists.

Bonafide 2013 is created by Stephanie Ogeleza and Produced by Pristine Playhouse and will run tonight, November 1 and November 2 & 3, 2013.
