Kelley Curran and Thomas Jay Ryan have been selected to receive the 2015 Joe A. Callaway Award presented by the Actors Equity Foundation.

Written by acclaimed playwright Tom Stoppard and directed by Howard Davies, Hampstead Theatre is delighted to present HAPGOOD, with previews commencing from Today 4 December 2015 for an opening Wednesday 9 December at 7pm. The show will run through 16 January 2016. Full casting to be announced.

Antonia Productions and Tony Montiglio will present an invite-only industry presentation of the Disco Era musical, THE ART OF THE HUSTLE written by Annette Alicanti, directed by Jonathan Cerullo, with choreography by Kristine Bendul & Ralph Ramirez and musical direction by Oliver Marsh on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 7PM

Shakespeare's bloodiest drama is playing at the New Wimbledon Studio for one more week.

On November 18th and 19th at 7pm in New York City, Tony Award-nominated singer & actress Melissa Errico will return to Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St.) in "Sing The Silence,' an entirely new, autobiographical cabaret show co-written with Adam Gopnik (The New Yorker) about how one singer's descent into 100 days of silence -- total silence -- compelled her towards an inventory of a lifetime's experience, on and off the stage. The show will include songs by women songwriters such as Georgia Stitt, Marcy Heisler, Jonathan Brooke, Susan Werner, Patricia Barber, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell and Dorothy Parker, as well as the title song written for Errico by Gopnik and Scott Frankel; and the New York debut of music by Jeanine Tesori. There is also a sprinkling of the classic American songbook by Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Sondheim & Mary Rodgers.

'[Thank you] to an incredible cast of British and American actors who make the Atlantic look like a little creek you can just kind of pop across,' said Dame Helen Mirren upon receiving her 2015 Tony Award. The stage and screen star reprised her critically-acclaimed performance in THE AUDIENCE after a West End run in 2013, and she was just one of many to 'pop across' an ocean for a stab at Broadway.  An unprecedented amount of British talent took over Broadway last year, bringing us such productions as THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2, and SKYLIGHT.   It doesn't seem like the trend is ending anytime soon. This fall, Broadway will welcome a slew of British actors- some of whom will be making their US stage debuts in incoming productions. And it's not just performers. We're getting some complete British imports in shows like A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE and KING CHARLES III. Below, we're taking a moment to shine a spotlight on this season's British imports.

The Old Vic presents Bertie Carvel in Richard Jones' new production of THE HAIRY APE, the second production in Matthew Warchus' opening season as Artistic Director. THE HAIRY APE opens on 29 October, with previews from tonight 17 October, and will see The Old Vic theatre transformed back to its original proscenium arch layout.

The Old Vic has today announced casting for David Greig's adaptation of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, directed by Max Webster. Simon Lipkin will play the role of the Lorax, alongside puppeteers Laura Cubitt and Ben Thompson, whilst Simon Paisley Day takes the role of the Once-ler.

From director Joe Wright (ATONEMENT, PRIDE & PREJUDICE) comes PAN, a live-action feature presenting a wholly original adventure about the beginnings of the beloved characters created by J.M. Barrie.
