This month the Metropolitan Room welcomes back two great singers with vastly different styles and personas - the garrulous blues mamma Baby Jane Dexter, who reprises 'If' by popular demand for nine shows from April 16 to May 2, and the cosmopolitan chanteuse Anna Bergman, who brings her Richard Rodgers tribute show, 'My Heart Stood Still,' for four shows spanning two weeks, from April 18 to April 29.

Andrea Marcovicci - the celebrated singer and actress lauded as 'the greatest cabaret star of her generation' by The International Herald Tribune and 'the epitome of elegance and showbiz savvy' by Variety - returns to the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street) for an exclusive seven-week run from November 11 to December 27 with a special new program 'Marcovicci Sings Movies II.' On Monday, August 4, 2008 the Friars Club presented DIVA NIGHT! in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room at the Friars Club. The evening was Hosted & Produced by Randie Levine-Miller and starred Christine Andreas, Anna Bergman, Beth Fowler, Alice Frazier, Liz McCartney, Rena Strober, Christianne Tisdale, Deborah Tranelli. Paul Chamlin served as Musical Director for the evening. The theater and cabaret stars performed songs from 'The Broadway Songbook'.
