High School Musical Star Vanessa Hudgens, who is coming to Broadway in the upcoming revival of GIGI, battled through a head cold on her first day of rehearsals.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre is pleased to announce the cast and creative team for Abundance, the 1990 play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart). An epic tale of friendship set against the backdrop of the sweeping American West, Abundance will be directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, who directed last season's production of William Inge's Natural Affection. Performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Opening night is set forSunday, March 1 at 6:00pm. Performances will continue through March 28, 2015.

The production will feature costumes by the legendary Catherine Zuber, who recently shared some of her designs with the New York Times. She told NYT: "It's not really historically accurate. The Storm Theatre Company has announced that they will kick off 2015 with a production of the play GIGI by Anita Loos adapted from the novella by Anita Loos. This will mark the first major revival of the show which opened in 1951 and which launched the career of Audrey Hepburn.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre will hold its Winter Benefit on Monday, December 1st at The Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street). The festive evening entitled 'Catch A Rising Star' will be emceed by legendary Broadway song and dance man Lee Roy Reams and will feature musical performances by eight young up-and-coming Broadway talents. The evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by the show at 7:00 p.m.
