TimeLine Theatre Company, named one of the nation's top 10 emerging professional theatres by the American Theatre Wing, founder of the Tony Awards®, is thrilled to announce that Mildred Marie Langford, Mechelle Moe and Maren Robinson have been named Company Members at the theater, effective immediately.
Silk Road Rising Presents SUMMER LAUGHIN: A SEASON OF STAGED READINGS

Silk Road Rising co-founders, Artistic Director Jamil Khoury and Executive Director Malik Gillani, have announced three staged readings for Summer 2012: Danny Bernardo's Mahal, Yussef Guindi's The Mummy and The Revolution, and Shane Sakhrani's The Doctor is Indian. All three staged readings will be presented in the company's venue in Pierce Hall at The Historic Chicago Temple Building at 77 W. Washington St. in Chicago. Tickets are $5.00 for each reading.

Goodman Theatre's perennial holiday classic A Christmas Carol, consistently included among the Midwest's top-tier holiday events, returns for the 33rd season. Renowned Chicago actor John Judd appears for the first time in the legendary role of Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, 'Goodman Theatre's annual Christmas gift to Chicago' (Daily Herald) for more than three decades. Judd leads a cast of 26 this holiday season-including 10 Chicagoland actors also appearing in A Christmas Carol for the first time. Chicago actor/director William Brown returns for the fifth consecutive year to stage the production hailed as 'a joyous present for the entire family'
