Critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Dar Williams returns to the SOPAC stage THU, DEC 17 at 7:30 p.m. in support of her 2015 album Emerald. Her deeply personal music speaks to her thoughtful and sensitive approach to themes of gender roles, religion, the turbulence of adolescence and more. An outspoken environmentalist, she has performed with luminaries Joan Baez, The Indigo Girls, Richard Shindell, Lucy Kaplansky, John Prine and other artists prominent in modern folk music. Pete Sinjin to Perform Family Friendly Concert at Bell House, 11/8

Pete Sinjin will be celebrating his new family album, House of Song, with a full band performance and party on Sunday, November 8th at The Bell House (149 7th St, Brooklyn). 'Hootenanny Pete' is a beloved Brooklyn treasure, especially to the littlest Brooklynites and their parents. He and his wife Kira opened the Hootenanny Art House in 2007, instilling a love for music in thousands of children in the community. The community they've built through song, supported the making of House of Song by supporting Pete and Kira's Kickstarter campaign which included homemade, hand-delivered chocolate cookies in addition to music. In 13 days the project made 150% of its goal and the album release celebration attracted more than 400 people.

As the summer festival season heats up, WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) is on site for more live broadcasts. On June 20-21 WFUV returns to Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, for Clearwater's 38th annual Great Hudson River Revival. After a Summer Festival Preview at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, the live broadcast begins at 3 p.m. with Los Lobos on the Rainbow Stage, followed by Neko Case. The Saturday broadcast will also include Angelique Kidjo and will conclude with the Citizen Cope Band's set, beginning at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Summer 2015 kicks off with star-power in Provincetown this Memorial Day Weekend. Leading off for Producing Artistic Director Mark Cortale's inaugural Broadway @ Town Hall season is comedian-actress Rosie O'Donnell with Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host, for one show only on Sunday, May 24 at 9:00 PM, and featuring opening guest, indie rocker Melissa Ferrick. Rosie's stage credits include the Broadway productions of "Grease," "Seussical," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Love, Loss and What I Wore," and the Encores! production of "No, No, Nanette." In addition to her acclaimed stand-up comedy and film careers, she is perhaps best known on television as the host and Executive Producer of the Emmy Award winning talk/variety series "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," and more recently for her return to daytime television as co-host of ABC's "The View."
