Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall returns to Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater with the world premiere of her most personal project to date-the fierce comedy-drama The Blood Quilt. Hall is an inaugural resident playwright of Arena Stage's American Voices New Play Institute, and The Blood Quilt is one of three plays from Hall receiving world premieres around the country this season. Hall reunites with director and Howard University alumna Kamilah Forbes (artistic director of the Hip-Hop Theater Festival) following their Broadway collaboration on The Mountaintop. The Blood Quilt runs April 24-June 7, 2015 in the Kreeger Theater.

Geva Theatre Center presents The Mountaintop - a soul-stirring reimagining of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s last night on earth by playwright Katori Hall, directed by Skip Greer. The Mountaintop begins performances March 31, opens April 4 (the anniversary of Dr. King's assassination), and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through April 26.

Harlem's Fashion Row (HFR) will present Style Beat, its inaugural event in Los Angeles during Grammy Awards weekend. The red carpet event will take place on the afternoon of Friday, February 6, 2015 at an exclusive private estate. HFR is a unique movement founded to increase diversity in fashion by producing events to educate, stimulate, and advance opportunities for emerging designers of color. Collections by four multicultural fashion designers will be showcased to a select group of 250 guests. It's been a long and winding road for the freaks in this season's AMERICAN HORROR STORY. Death, betrayal, sass, and some good, old-fashioned blood baths (literally and figuratively) sprinkled in for good measure made for quite a show.
