For their final episode of 2013, The Ensemblist put out a call through social media for listeners to submit their own questions. Fans submitted questions through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and at theensemblist.com. The result is this supersized, action-packed episode featuring interviews with Broadway actors Lauren Molina, Shina Ann Morris, Chelsea Packard, Andy Richardson, Nic Rouleau, Alena Watters and Ryan Worsing.

It's Broadway's long-running shows that keep Times Square bustling year-round with theatre-goers from around the world who are making it to the Great White Way for their first time. Newsies is currently in its second year at the Nederlander Theatre, having played almost 700 performances.

Newsies, the hit Tony Award-winning 'critics' pick,' celebrates the release of its first book, Newsies: Stories of the Unlikely Broadway Hit. The book will be sold exclusively for Newsiesticket holders at The Nederlander Theatre, 208 W. 41st Street, NYC and at www.newsiesbroadwaystore.com, beginning November, 4th 2013 until February 4th 2014, when it goes on-sale in retail outlets nationwide. The book retails for $25 and includes photos that have never been seen publicly.

Today, Camp Broadway has announced its roster of guest artists visiting its three-day musical theater dance intensive geared towards dancers ages 14-18, occurring over the Columbus Day weekend, today, October 12-14, 2013.

Stars and casts from the current Broadway line-up have been busy in the studio, recording for the 2013 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 15. Singing traditional and original holiday songs, this annual holiday music CD benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. Two years ago, on September 15, 2011, Newsies, the hit Tony Award-winning 'critics' pick,' played its first performance at Paper Mill Playhouse. Ever since that very first night, Newsies fans, self-proclaimed 'fansies,' have been a cause for celebration, helping to propel the show from a limited regional theatre run to a limited Broadway engagement and then to extend into a record-breaking open-ended run. In honor of those dedicated fans, the show will celebrate 'NewsiesFan Week' September 15 - 21. Check out the cast's announcement video below!
