Producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg just announced that three time Tony Award® nominee Marin Mazzie (Passion; Ragtime; Kiss Me, Kate) will play the role of 'Helen Sinclair' in the world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY.

These dates are Friday December 6th at 7:00p and Saturday December 21st at 4:00p at The Metropolitan Room . NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, "Music at the Mansion", on Sunday, October 27, at 3pm. Performers include Gas Lamp Players' cast of The Secret Garden, Tracy Stark, and DC Anderson. The featured performer in the "Young Musician Moment" will be Lauren Barr. Gas Lamp Players will be presenting the Broadway Musical, The Secret Garden, November 22-24. The Secret Garden tells the story of Mary Lennox, a young girl orphaned during the cholera epidemic in India, who is sent to live on a mysterious estate in Yorkshire, England. The estate's many wonders include a magic garden which beckons the children with haunting melodies, and the "Dreamers," spirits from Mary's past, who guide her through her new life, dramatizing The Secret Garden's compelling tale. Three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker recently joined the cast of Broadway's CINDERELLA as the Fairy Godmother, Marie, on September 6. Luker will continue in the role through through January 19, 2014, while original cast member Victoria Clark departs the production temporarily for a new project. Three-time Tony Award nominee Rebecca Luker will join the cast on Broadway as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, Marie, starting tonight, September 6 through January 19, 2014. Ms. Luker takes over the role from Victoria Clark, who leaves Cinderella temporarily for a new project, returning to the musical on January 21.
Cinderella welcomed its first same sex proposal last night, September 4, directly following the 7:30pm show. The couple, Jason Aronne and Kunal Ghose, lives in San Diego and have been together for two years. Ghose said: 'Growing up in India you don't hear many western stories but you do read Cinderella and it left a lasting impression of finding 'happily ever after' on me. Gay resort Fire Island was abuzz as Broadway legend Carol Channing arrived Friday to perform Saturday night at Cherry Grove's Ice Palace. The 92 year old showbiz legend was part of Daniel Nardicio's Icon Series.
