Repertory Dance Theatre Sets Family-Friendly Programming for 2014-15

Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) is thrilled to present the 17th season of Ring Around the Rose, a 'wiggle-friendly' series of performances for children and families. This unique series explores the magical world of the arts, including dance, theatre, music and storytelling by presenting professional artists in a fun and approachable format.

Held the second Saturday of each month, September-May, each show begins at 11:00 am at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center and runs for one hour. Audiences are invited to participate in different ways in each show so children have an opportunity to experience the arts first-hand while in a professional stage setting.

The 17th season of RDT's Ring Around the Rose promises to be better than ever with some annual favorites and the return of some old classics. RDT will start the season on September 13 with an introduction to the art of dance. Some other old favorites will be included like the ever-popular African Drums and Ballet West. And we are excited to announce the newest addition to the season - a Piano Gameshow with the talented artists from the Mundi Project. With everything from dance to theatre to film, there are plenty of opportunities to get your feet stomping and mind buzzing!
