The Minnesota Symphony is moving toward featuring live soundtracks to popular films, which has been a big draw for audiences. This season, they are performing live to five films, among some are 'It's a Wonderful Life', 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone', 'Disney-Pixar's Ratatouille', and 'ET'.

Victory Gardens Theater continues its season with the World Premiere of A Wonder In My Soul, written by ensemble playwright Marcus Gardley and directed by Artistic Director Chay Yew. The Huntington Theatre Company's 2016 Breaking Ground festival of new plays will be held December 1 - 4 at the Huntington's home for new work, the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. The festival is a vital part of the Huntington's new play development efforts and highlights the work of locally-based Huntington Playwriting Fellows and national writers in partnership with the Huntington. Over the last decade, Breaking Ground plays have gone on to appear at the Huntington as well as theatres in Boston, across the country, and internationally.

Based on Argentinian author Adolfo Bioy Casares' 1940 novel 'La invencion de Morel,' Copeland's new adaptation examines the triumph of time-bending love over convention in a story of adoration and desire. 'The Invention of Morel' features London-based actor, director and writer Jonathan Moore as Stage Director/Librettist together with COT's Artistic Director Andreas Mitisek as Conductor.
