Free Theatre for All Ages! New York Classical Theatre runs Downtown with 'King Lear' by William Shakespeare in Battery Park, Meet at Castle Clinton. Directed by Stephen Burdman. On June 23, 24, 25, 26, 29 & 30 and July 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 7: All Shows are at 7pm. Additionally, free drama workshops for families with kids ages 7-12 are on Thursday, June 25, Tues, June 30, Thursday, July 2 & Tuesday, July 7 at 5pm.

New York Classical Theater opens it's 10th Anniversary, 2009 Season with William Shakespeare's, 'King Lear'. A king confronting his own morality. Three daughters' love and loyalty are tested. As his kingdom is torn apart by war, he nears the edge of sanity. Can he learn to see through the tempest in his mind?
