Broadway Gives Back and Seaview Productions will present the "Second Annual Broadway Charity Songs" benefit concert. "Broadway Charity Songs" has paired a group of award-winning musical theatre composers with a group outstanding charities and tasked them with composing an original song inspired by the work of that charity. The result is a group of songs gifted to the charities - with the hope that the songs "go viral" -- increasing awareness for these outstanding organizations.

A Spook-tacular Spring Offering! THE ADDAMS FAMILY Will Haunt The McCallum Theatre 3/14-16

The 2013/2014 National Tour of the musical The Addams Family, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its McCallum Theatre premiere, as part of the Rabobank Broadway Blockbuster Series, for five performances, Friday, March 14, through Sunday, March 16. The Addams Family, which began performances on Broadway in March 2010 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and ran through December 2011, immediately became one of Broadway's biggest hits. Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune described the production as 'classic, full-tilt, fast paced, old-fashioned musical comedy!' and John Simon of Bloomberg News called it 'Uproarious! A glitzy-gloomy musical entirely worthy of the macabre drawings by Charles Addams.'

4th Annual NIGHT OF A THOUSAND JUDYS Set for Kaufman Center, 6/16

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre will present the fourth annual 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' on Monday, June 16. The Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan). Called 'a rambunctious, uproarious, unpredictable all-star concert' by The Wall Street Journal, 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' will honor the iconic Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her legendary career as movie star, recording artist and stage performer. This show will also help celebrate the landmark 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. There will be a pre-show VIP reception at 6:30 PM and the performance at 8:00 PM. BWW Previews: I AM HARVEY MILK comes to the Folly in Kansas City

The Heartland Men's Chorus unites with the St. Louis Gateway Men's Chorus to bring "I Am Harvey Milk," to the stage of the Folly Theatre in Kansas City, Mo. The celebration of the life of civil rights icon Harvey Milk takes the stage on March 29 and 30. Preceding the Kansas City performance, the choruses will present a free preview on March 8 at 7 p.m., at the Missouri United Methodist Church in Columbia, Mo. An encore performance will take the stage of the Washington University's 560 Music Center in St. Louis on April 5.

Broadway Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of the new musical BIG FISH digitally today, February 7, 2014 and everywhere music is sold on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Broadway In Indianapolis Partners with American Heart Association

Broadway in Indianapolis announces partnership with the American Heart Association in conjunction with Ghost The Musical, Memphis and The Addams Family - three shows with tremendous 'heart'. Josh Young Set for AMAZING GRACE World Premiere in Chicago; Gabriel Barre and Christopher Gattelli Lead Creative Team

Broadway In Chicago just announced the world premiere of AMAZING GRACE, a new musical starring Tony Award nominee® Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar) as John Newton, directed by Gabriel Barre (Andrew Lippas' The Wild Party) and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), will play the Bank of America Theatre (18 W Monroe) this fall. With music and lyrics by Christopher Smith and a book by Christopher Smith andArthur Giron, AMAZING GRACE begins performances October 9 and runs through November 2.

STAGE TUBE: On This Day 2/4- YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN

Today in 1999, You're A Good an Charlie Brown opened at the Ambassador Theatre, where it ran for 149 performances. A 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, the show is based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. THe 1999 revival featured new dialogue by Michael Mayer, who also directed, and additional songs and orchestration written by Andrew Lippa; choreography was by Jerry Mitchell. The cast featured Anthony Rapp, Kristin Chenoweth, and Roger Bart.
