Lincoln Center's acclaimed American Songbook series returns for its 18th season of celebrating the best in American singing and songwriting. During February and March 2016, established and rising singers and singer-songwriters across a range of genres-Southern soul, bluegrass, folk, R&B, indie rock, pop, musical theater, and more-will take The Appel Room stage for concerts that explore the many iterations of American song. And in spring, American Songbook will return to Alice Tully Hall with two dynamic women whose artistry in two very different arenas demonstrates the expansive reach of American song embodied in the series.

Windy City Music Theatre, one of Chicago's fastest-growing professional theatre companies, will present A LITTLE PRINCESS, a musical by Brian Crawley and Tony-nominated composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party), November 12-27 in Jefferson Park.

Everyman Theatre has announced that Carolee Carmello and Joseph Melendez will be featured in the workshop of Michael John LaChiusa and Ellen Fitzhugh's intimate musical Los Otros. The workshop examines the revised book and score of the musical, which was originally commissioned by the Center Theatre Group and premiered at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

Cohen, is based on the Gothic Horror Classic by Mary Shelley, and brought to life with panache and flair. This musical follows the ill-fated life of an ambitious Victor Frankenstein who creates a monster and is forced to face the monster within.
