Frisco Youth Theatre will present BIG FISh at Wakeland High School (10700 Legacy Dr, Frisco, TX 75034) this weekend. 

Andy Blankenbuehler has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Choreography for Bandstand. Mr. Blankenbuehler won a 2008 Tony Award for his choreography in the Tony Award winning Best Musical In The Heights (also Lortel Award, Outer Critics Award and Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Choreography). He also choreographed the Broadway revival of The Apple Tree.

Running through June 25th, this endearing production, directed by Tony winner Jeffrey Seller, boasts a stellar cast and creative team. Ryne Nardecchia - a product of the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre and recent Texas State grad - returns to Houston to play one of comics' most iconic characters and possibly America's most famous canine, Snoopy, in the Theatre Under the Stars production of THE WORLD ACCORDING TO SNOOPY.

Lovers of new theatre from all over the country will gather this August for an advance look at tomorrow's hits in TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's 2017 New Works Festival. This unique festival offers audiences an extraordinary opportunity to experience new plays and musicals in their early stages of development, give feedback, and participate in a panel discussion with the artists. Playwrights are able to rewrite entire scenes of their plays between performances, allowing the audience to help shape a brand new piece of theatre.

The fourth installment of Pride Films and Plays' His & His.'  cabaret series - entitled 'Broadway at the Broadway' will be performed on Thursday, June 8 in The Broadway at the Pride Arts Center, 4139 N. Broadway. The His and His series follows the development of LGBT characters on Broadway, and celebrates the artists who wrote the great works of musical theater.

This month, THE ADDAMS FAMILY returned to New York for a sold out run at the Baruch Performing Arts Center. THE ADDAMS FAMILY Young@Part Edition is an all new one hour student version of the hit Broadway musical. Since its first publication as a comic strip in 1938, The Addams Family has seen many incarnations, but did not become a musical until it launched on Broadway in 2010. Now the quirky comedy based on Jersey Boys writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice's book, combined with Tony Award nominated Andrew Lippa's brilliantly crafted music and lyrics, sees its UK premiere.
