The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Producer) continues the Winter 2013 Musicals in Mufti Series with Hollywood Pinafore, with book & lyrics by George S. Kaufman and music by Sir Arthur Sullivan. Hollywood Pinafore was originally produced in 1945. Directed by Mark Kaufmann and with music direction by Beth Falcone, the cast will feature Susan Blommaert, Claybourne Elder, Jennifer Evans, Sara Jean Ford, Tom Galantich, Julie Kotarides, Dennis Parlato, Andrew Ragone, Kilty Reidy, Danny Rutigliano and Mary Stout.

York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director) has announced principal casting for the remaining three musicals in its Winter 2013 Musicals in Mufti Series: Hollywood Pinafore (March 1-3, 2013), Happy Hunting (March 15-17, 2013), and Silk Stockings (March 22-24, 2013) at York Theatre Company at its home in Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The York Theatre Company will present a workshop reading of two short operas, Mardi Gras and The Last Word with book, lyrics an music by Mildred Kayden. Directed by Bill Castelleno and with music direction by Christopher McGovern, the 3-member company features Jason Mills, Rebecca Pitcher and Tom Souhrada. Performances are set for February 2 at 2:30pm & 8:00pm and February 3 at 2:30pm at The York Theatre Company in Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

York Theatre Company presents Broadway's Marc Kudisch (9 to 5; Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) and Jeffry Denman (Irving Berlin's White Christmas; Yank! at the York) in the Off-Broadway premiere of a new holiday variety entertainment, The Holiday Guys in Happy Merry Hanu-Mas, under the music direction of Timothy Splain, for a limited two week engagement through December 31, 2012 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
