Katrina Lenk, Richard Topol, Lenny Wolpe and More Star in Yale Rep's INDECENT, Premiering Tonight

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), now through October 24. Opening Night is tonight, October 8. The world premiere of INDECENT is a co-production with La Jolla Playhouse, where it will play November 13-December 10.

Tickets to David Bowie & Enda Walsh's LAZARUS at NYTW on Sale Today

Tickets for LAZARUS, the second production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) 2015/16 Season, will go on sale today beginning at 12pm EST. Single tickets for LAZARUS are $95. A limited number of $25 CheapTix will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first two performances. Tickets and membership packages can be purchased by visiting www.nytw.org or by calling 212-460-5475 (Monday-Friday, noon-6pm) or visiting the NYTW Box Office (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003).

The Drama League has announced the roster of special guest performers for its Centennial Gala, celebrating the organization's 100 years of service.  Honoring Golden Globe and three-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters, the Centennial Gala will be held on Monday evening, November 2, 2015 at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue) in New York City, and supports The Drama League's educational initiatives for promising young artists.  Tickets are available by calling (212) 244-9494 or by visiting http://dramaleague.org/events/gala.

Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the Regional Premiere of The Nether opening October 22, 2015 on the Frank and Katrina Basile Stage. This production runs through November 22, with Bryan Fonseca serving as director.

The Musical, Underscore Theatre Company is pleased to present the world premiere musical comedy THE STORY OF A STORY (THE UNTOLD STORY) with book and lyrics by Peter Gwinn, music by Jody Shelton, direction and choreography by Christopher Pazdernik, music direction and orchestrations by David Kornfeld. THE STORY OF A STORY (THE UNTOLD STORY) will play October 3 - November 8, 2015 at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. A brand new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic THE SOUND OF MUSIC launched its national tour at the Center Theatre Group / Ahmanson Theatre last night, September 30 at 8 p.m. Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, the production closes in Los Angeles on October 31, 2015, and will then tour North America for multiple seasons, playing multi-week and week-long engagements. Ben Platt, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Ciara Renee & More Set for Charlie Rosen's BROADWAY BIG BAND, 10/10

Following multiple sold out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band returns to the intimate Manhattan venue 54 Below on Saturday August 22nd to continue an official residence for 2015. The 9:30 PM concert, helmed by director Max Friedman, features returning guest vocalists Gerard Canonico (Spring Awakening, American Idiot), Hannah Elless (Godspell, Steve Martin & Edie Brickell's Bright Star), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Hedwig and The Angry Inch, American Idiot), Janet Krupin (Bring It On, If/Then), Lauren 'LOLO' Pritchard (DCD2 Recording Artist, Spring Awakening), and Ciara Renee? (Big Fish, Pippin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), plus the Broadway Big Band debuts of Nicholas Christopher (Motown The Musical, Whorl Inside A Loop) and Ben Platt (Pitch Perfect, The Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen). Friedman and Rosen co-produce the series.

Cristin Milioti, Michael Esper & More Will Join Michael C. Hall in David Bowie's & Enda Walsh's LAZARUS Off-Broadway

 New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced the full cast for LAZARUS, by David Bowie and Enda Walsh (Once, Tony Award), inspired by the novel The Man Who Fell to Earth by Walter Tevis, and directed by Ivo van Hove (Hedda Gabler, More Stately Mansions, Obie Awards). LAZARUS begins previews on November 18, with an opening night set for December 7, 2015.

Arizona Theatre, Stray Cat Present New Comedy SEX WITH STRANGERS, Beginning Tonight

Arizona Theatre Company, in a special collaboration with Stray Cat Theatre, will present Laura Eason's new comedy about the calculations people are making to find love or fame in an age of social media, brightly-lit phone screens and blogging. SEX WITH STRANGERS plays tonight, Sept. 24, through Oct. 11 in Stage West at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe.
