The celebrated stars and director of WGN America's Underground Railroad thriller 'Underground,' one of the most highly acclaimed television series of the year, will take center stage at the 2016 Essence Festival, the nation's premier showcase for African American music and culture. Aldis Hodge (Noah), Alano Miller (Cato), and Amirah Vann (Ernestine), with noted director and executive producer Anthony Hemingway, will discuss the phenomenon the record-breaking series 'Underground' has become, during a not-to-be missed panel discussion at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center ?on Friday, July 1 from 12:15 p.m. - 12:35 p.m. Following the main stage experience, lucky 'Underground' fans will be able to meet the cast and director during an exclusive Fan Zone event.

After a spectacular season kick-off Tony winning classic Anything Goes, the Gateway continues to dazzle with a rocking rendition of Tony nominee Million Dollar Quartet. On Broadway during the 2010/2011 season, this is the story of the historic jam session that included legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce the arrival of the Hamptons' newest diva, with the world premiere of THE FORGOTTEN WOMAN, a new play by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Noah Himmelstein. The production starts tomorrow, May 31, and runs through June 19. There is a 'Pay What You Can' performance on May 31 with a limited amount of tickets available at the Box Office starting at 11 am that are based on a first-come, first-served basis.
