Kingdom Come by Jenny Rachel Weiner, the first new play of Roundabout Underground's newly expanded 2016-2017 season officially opens tonight, November 2, 2016 at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

American Theater Company (ATC) announces casting for its regional premiere of Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus, Jan. 6-Feb. 12, 2017, immediately following the production's acclaimed Off Broadway run directed by ATC Artistic Director Will Davis at Playwrights Horizons. Davis also helms the ATC production, with an all new Chicago cast.

The Gift Theatre's Artistic Director Michael Patrick Thornton is proud to announce that 4802-the new play research and development wing of The Gift named after its storefront address located on N Milwaukee Ave in Jefferson Park-is now accepting applicants. More than 250 companies of the Chicago theater community typically produce more than 100 world premieres each season.
