Photo Coverage: On the Opening Night Red Carpet for INDECENT

Indecent, the newest work by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel (HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE), opened just last night, April 18 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues). USM Department of Theatre Kicks Off Season with Dylan Thomas' UNDER MILK WOOD

The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre begins its season on Sept. 30 with Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood." Director Andrew Harris is working with his student cast to recreate Thomas' lyrically written, riotously funny and deeply moving portrait of the circle of a spring day in the small Welsh seaside village of Llareggub.

USM's Department of Theatre Announces 2016-2017 Season

The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre is announcing its 2016-2017 season, a collection of five productions ranging in style and content from the lyricism of Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood" and the whimsy of Julia Cho's "The Language Archive" to the power of "Dance USM" and the wit of the Shakespeare-based opera, "The Merry Wives of Windsor." The season will conclude with a special theatre, music and visual art collaboration, "Molded By the Flow," that will hold opening nights in both Lewiston and Gorham.

Bullshot Crummond: The Evil Eye of Jabar and The Invisible Bride of Death A world premiere comedy in two episodes By Ron House Based on Bullshot Crummond by Diz White, Ron House, Alan Shearman, John Neville-Andrews and Derek Cunningham March 4 through April 10, 2016.

The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre presents the second show of the season, 'Our Town' by Thornton Wilder, guest directed by Andrew Harris. Opening tonight, November 13, the show takes place at the Main Stage at Russell Hall on the USM Gorham campus, there will be a total of nine performances through November 22.

The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre presents the second show of the season, "Our Town' by Thornton Wilder,  guest directed by Andrew Harris. Opening on Friday, November 13, the show takes place at the Main Stage at Russell Hall on the USM Gorham campus, there will be a total of nine performances through November 22. 

Geoffrey Beevers, Anthony Heald & Patricia Conolly to Lead New Dramatists' THE LADY REVEALED Reading

After a highly successful reading at Covent Garden's Bates Theatre this past July, the new play The Lady Revealed, will receive another starry reading on Monday, March 16th (3PM) at New Dramatists (424 West 44th Street). Based on the life and works of A.L. Rowse, the reading will feature Bianca Amato, David Hywel-Baynes, Geoffrey Beevers, Patricia Conolly, Anthony Heald, Merritt Janson, T. Ryder Smith, Sam Underwood and Jake McCready. Written by Dr. Andrew B. Harris the reading will be directed by Illana Stein (Associate Director Tamburlaine the Great at Theatre for a New Audience) along with Broadway's Belasco Theatre manager Steffi Wallis working with New Dramatists as producer.

Tovah Feldshuh Comes to Feinstein's at the Nikko This Weekend

Acclaimed Broadway, film and television star, Tovah Feldshuh - nominated six times for the Tony and Emmy Awards-brings to San Francisco for the first time, her award winning one-woman show, Tovah: Out of Her Mind! at Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances only - this weekend, December 13 (7 p.m.) and December 14 (7 p.m.).
