Broadway headliners are coming in droves to record the 2010 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, the annual holiday CD benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA). Musical Theatre West has announced that Andrea McArdle, Broadway's original Annie, will star as Miss Hannigan in its upcoming production of ANNIE at the beautiful 1070-seat Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach. ANNIE previews October 29th and runs October 30th through November 14th. Musical Theatre West Artistic Director/Producer Steven Glaudini directs with musical direction by Daniel Thomas and choreography by Roger Castellano.

Andrea McArdle, Broadway's original Annie, now stars as Annie's arch nemesis Miss Hannigan in the new production of 'Annie' at the North Carolina Theatre in Raleigh. The production runs through August 1st. To bring this beloved villain to life, McArdle undergoes a transformation every night...with the help of some make-up and a blonde wig. Make-up and wig extraordinaire Patricia DelSardo lends her skilled hands to help ensure that everything is place before the first bars of 'Tomorrow' are heard in the overture.
